When should you start using it?

You can usually start wearing your belly wrap a few days post-birth (check with your midwife or OB first). Many mums wear theirs for the first 6–8 weeks, especially when doing things that involve more movement – like walks, errands, or holding a baby while trying to butter toast one-handed.

Small/Medium Wrap is for size 6-12

Large/XL Wrap is for size 14+

Wraps are very stretchy. If you are between sizes 12/14 then size up.

Before wearing it is essential you must talk to a health care provider (midwife/doctor) for clearance to wear a wrap as these may not be suitable for your recovery.

HOW TO USE
Wrap from the bottom up: Start at your hips and wrap up around your pelvis and lower abdomen. Wrapping down can put too much pressure on your pelvic floor. 

Don't wrap too tight: Wrapping too tightly can put too much pressure on your abdominal muscles and pelvic floor, which can lead to hernias and prolapse. It can also make it hard to breathe. 

Take breaks: Don't wear a belly wrap all day. Overwearing it can cause your muscles and ligaments to become overdependent. 

Check with your doctor: Before using a belly wrap, you should check with your obstetrician or other medical professional. If you had a c-section, you should check with your doctor before using a belly wrap, as it might not be suitable if you've had complications. 

Wear comfortable clothes: Wear form fitting clothes without buttons or zippers. 

Clean the belly band: Clean the belly band to avoid infection and irritation. 

Gradually increase the time: Start by wearing the belly band for one hour a day, then increase the time gradually.
