Oopsie Heroes Plus

Can Oopsie Heroes Plus be used with a nappy?
No, we advise against using Oopsie Heroes with a nappy. Placing the sensor on the outside of a nappy stops it detecting urine, and placing it inside blocks the signal. It also works against the point of the alarm. Experts recommend moving away from nappies once you start alarm therapy, since a nappy makes your child feel too protected to notice when it's wet.

How do I set up our Oopsie alarm?
Download the app, connect the sensor to the app (only needed once), and choose your alarm sound. Place the sensor on the outside of your child's underwear or pyjamas, turn on the app, and lock the device. That's it, you're ready for the night.

Where do I need to place the sensor?
Using the stickers provided, place the sensor on the outside of your child's underwear, in the area where a leak is most likely.

How do I clean the sensor?
Wipe it with a damp cloth. Never submerge the sensor in water. Each morning, have your child remove the sensor, wipe it clean, and store it in the box until bedtime.

How do I apply the sticker?
The Oopsie Heroes sensor comes with plenty of stickers (56 in total). Peel one off the sheet, put it on the back of the sensor, and attach it to the outside of your child's underpants. Make sure it's aligned correctly.

How well does the sticker hold the sensor in place?
Very well. We recommend attaching the sensor to cotton underpants for the best hold.

Where do I place the mobile device at night?
Keep the device in your child's room, within 2 to 3 metres of the bed. Leave it plugged in so the battery doesn't run out.

What device can I use the Oopsie Heroes app on?
Any mobile device that can run the app, such as an older phone or tablet (Android and iOS).

Can I lock my mobile device during the night?
Yes. Once sleep mode is on, you can lock the screen. On an Apple device, use Guided Access under Settings or Control Centre. On an Android device, use App Pinning. You'll need to unlock the device to turn off the alarm.

Will my child be alerted by notifications from other apps?
No, as long as you set the device to silent, do not disturb, or airplane mode. Also make sure the volume is loud enough for the alarm to wake your child.

How long does the sensor battery last?
Press the wake-up button on the app each time your child gets up. This gives the battery up to 180 days of full-time use.
