The Rodger Wireless Bedwetting Alarm is one of the most advanced wet bed alarms available in Australia. Unlike traditional bedwetting alarms that use clips and cords, Rodger has moisture sensors sewn directly into the underwear. The moment your child starts to wet, the sensor detects it and triggers the alarm immediately. No cords, no clips, nothing to get tangled up in at night.
It is particularly effective for deep sleepers because the alarm sounds at the very first drop of moisture, giving your child the best possible chance of waking before a full accident occurs.
How does a bedwetting alarm work?
Bedwetting alarms work on a principle called conditioned learning. The weak signal of a full bladder, which your child does not yet respond to during sleep, is replaced with a strong signal: the alarm sound. Over time, your child's brain learns to connect the sensation of a full bladder with waking up. Eventually their bladder reflex functions correctly and they sleep through the night dry, without any help from the alarm at all.
At bedtime your child puts on the sensor briefs and snaps the small waterproof transmitter onto the waistband. The moment the briefs detect moisture, the transmitter wirelessly signals the receiver up to 22 metres away and the alarm sounds. Your child gets out of bed to turn it off, visits the toilet, changes into a fresh pair, and goes back to sleep. Simple, consistent, effective.
What to expect
The first few nights will involve getting up. That is a good sign. Every time your child wakes and goes to the toilet, the brain is making the connection it needs. Use the alarm every night and the results will come.
We have heard from several parents whose kids were dry within ten days of using the Rodger alarm, including families who had already tried other alarms that did not work. Every child is different, but consistent use is what gets results.
Some children wet during the day as well as at night. If that sounds familiar, the Rodger Amigo Daytime Alarm is a discreet portable alarm designed for use during school hours and everyday activities. It works on the same conditioned learning principle as the Rodger Wireless Alarm but is built for daytime use.
You can also pair the Rodger Wireless Alarm with the Rodger Buddy Vibrating Watch, which gives your child a quiet wrist vibration at set intervals during the day as a toilet reminder. It works silently so no one else in the classroom knows. Browse our full range of vibrating reminder watches for more options.

This simple to use bedwetting alarm has been selling successfully since 1979. It's design and reliability has been truly tried and tested.
The Wet Stop is a wearable alarm designed to 'train the brain' to recognise the sensation to wee. When your child wets, the alarm sounds and eventually they will be able to react to the sensation themselves to stop their flow of urine, wake-up and go to the toilet by themselves.
